Job Description
As a CFO & Partners Right Hand within our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, managing the portfolio of co-created companies, and strategic support to the companies in which we invest.
1. Market Analysis:
○ Contribution to market analyses linked to startup creation projects around the agriculture of tomorrow and healthy and sustainable food.
○ Conduct industry research to identify market trends and opportunities.
○ Identification of market needs to be met and constant monitoring of the creation of AgriFoodTech startups at the international level.
2. Financial modeling:
○ Participate with project leaders in defining the value proposition of the projects and their financial modeling.
3. Internal Committees:
○ Contribute to the writing of presentations for internal Committees (Investment, Impact, Strategic)
○ Participation in AgriLife Studio internal committees
4. Communication:
○ Handling of Communication (LinkedIn, Site, Newsletter), in direct contact with the founders
○ Proposal, Writing and Publication of posts/articles
○ Contribution to the formalization of our network of Mentors
Profile / Qualifications required:
Education:
- Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or agriculture from a top school or university.
Technical skills:
- Financial modeling skills
- Excellent command of Excel and presentation tools (PowerPoint)
Analytical skills
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to process complex information
- Ability to conduct in-depth research and synthesize data
Interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and interact with various stakeholders
Organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and rigor in work
Language skills
- Fluency in French and English (written and oral). Knowledge of other languages is an asset
Other skills
- Strong motivation and interest in impact
- High professional ethics and discretion in the management of sensitive information.
- Experience or interest in the world of start-ups / business creation and/or investment / agritech / deeptech

Recruitment Process
At Agrilife Studio, we place great importance on integrating new talent into our team. Our recruitment process is designed to identify the most qualified and motivated candidates. Here are the detailed steps of our recruitment process:
1. Submission of the Application

- A cover letter detailing their interest in the position and their relevant skills.
2. Telephone interview / Videoconference with the CFO
Duration: 45-60 minutes
The initial interview aims to assess:
- The candidate's motivation and interest in the position.
- His understanding of the responsibilities of the internship.
- His communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Candidates selected at this stage will be invited to complete a practical case.
3. Practical Case:
- Technical and analytical questions to assess the candidate's skills.
- Practical exercises to test the candidate's ability to solve real problems.

- Validation of mastery of tools and technical skills
Candidates selected at this stage will be invited for an in-depth interview.
4. Face-to-Face Interview / Videoconference
Duration: 1 hour
This interview will be conducted by a panel consisting of a Partner and the CFO. Topics covered will include:
- A discussion about the candidate's expectations and development opportunities within the company.
- A restitution of the Practical Case
5. Reference Checks
We will contact references provided by candidates to obtain additional information about their professional experience and skills.
6. Integration and Training
Once the offer is accepted, we will prepare the integration of the successful candidate, including:
- An orientation session to present the company, the team, and current projects.
- Initial training on the tools and processes used by the team.
- The assignment of a mentor to support the intern throughout their internship
